Dive-site story
Located along the rugged coastline of Plavnik Island in the Kvarner Gulf, this site centers on a sea cavern with an underwater entrance tunnel. Divers swim through the submerged passage to surface inside a secluded interior dome where sunlight filters down from an opening in the rocky ceiling. Outside the cave mouth, a rocky drop-off slopes downward over boulder fields covered in sponges and bryozoans.
