Dive-site story
The Greek cargo vessel Peltastis sank during a violent winter gale in the late 1960s off the eastern coast of Krk Island. Sitting upright on a silty seabed, the intact hull features an accessible bridge, prominent cargo holds, and an intact propeller. Algae, encrusting sponges, and hydroids blanket the iron structure, while schooling fish hover over the masts.
