Dive-site story
Situated along the coast of Pantar Island in the Alor Archipelago, Bakalang Jetty provides a sheltered muck dive beneath and around pier structures. The seafloor consists of dark volcanic sand, rubble patches, and scattered debris that host dense concentrations of cryptic critters. Batfish often congregate in the shadows of the wooden pilings while scorpionfish and bottom-dwellers rest camouflaged across the silt slope.
