Batee Gla is an exposed rocky reef formation off the northwest coast of Pulau Weh in Aceh. Ocean currents sweeping past the Andaman Sea hit the submerged granite boulders, attracting schools of predatory fish and passing pelagics. Divers descend along dramatic underwater ridges draped in sea fans, soft corals, and dense gorgonians before drifting along the deeper shelves.
