Dive-site story
Batu Lima, translating to 'Five Rocks', is named after the cluster of limestone islets protruding from the water near Gam Island in the Dampier Strait. Submerged, these rocks form a series of coral ridges, swim-throughs, and bommies that transition into a sloping sandy reef. Dense fields of staghorn coral and sea fans dominate the substrate, while schooling fusiliers and sweetlips congregate around current-facing points.
