Dive-site story
Candy Store is a submerged reef system located in the Daram chain of southern Raja Ampat. The site gets its name from the kaleidoscopic array of soft corals and massive sea fans that carpet the underwater ridges and slopes. Swept by nutrient-rich currents, the plateau and drop-offs host dense aggregations of pelagics along with tiny critters tucked into gorgonians.
Vast fields of pastel soft corals and giant sea fans spreading across the ridges
Schools of yellowtail fusiliers and chevron barracuda circling the current-facing point
Encounters with resting wobbegong sharks and hunting trevallies along the reef edge
