Dive-site story
Chicken Reef is an open-water submerged reef in Raja Ampat's Dampier Strait. The reef plateau falls away into slopes and sandy bottom terraces frequented by schooling pelagics and reef predators. Due to exposure to tidal movements, the area frequently experiences brisk currents that concentrate marine life around the upcurrent corners and hard coral bommies.
