Dive-site story
Submerged north of Gili Lawa Laut in Komodo National Park, this seamount exposes only its uppermost tip at low tide. Divers descend along the current-swept flank into dense schools of fusiliers and hunting pelagics. A deeper submerged mound extends off the main pinnacle, connected by a saddle where sharks congregate in the prevailing flow.
