Dive-site story
Kelapa Dua sits along the outer reef perimeter of Kakaban Island in the Derawan Archipelago. The site features a steep vertical wall plunging into the oceanic depths, covered in massive gorgonian sea fans, black coral bushes, and soft corals. Because it faces open water and receives strong tidal flows, divers drift along the reef face while keeping an eye out into the blue for passing pelagic predators.
