Dive-site story
Sunk intentionally in 2012 as an artificial reef, the Boga wreck sits upright on a steep black sand slope just off the pebble beach in Kubu, north of Tulamben. The vessel contains multiple accessible decks, open cargo holds, and even a Volkswagen car parked inside its hull. Coral growth has established across the superstructure, while the surrounding sandy substrate transitions into deep blue water where pelagic species occasionally cruise by.
Vintage car parked inside the cargo hold open to exploration
Statues and artifacts placed strategically on the decks and nearby sand
Propeller and rudder assembly sitting intact at the deep stern
Macro critters hiding along the algae-encrusted railings and crane booms
