Dive-site story
Rising out of the open Indian Ocean off the rugged coast of South Lombok, this exposed pinnacle is famous for dramatic pelagic action. Exposed to heavy ocean swells and powerful currents, the submerged rock attracts schooling scalloped hammerheads during the dry season. Divers descend rapidly into the blue to shelter in the lee of the pinnacle while watching apex predators and schooling pelagics circle in the blue.
