Located along the northern coastline of Nusa Penida, Pura Mas Gading is named after the coastal Hindu temple situated nearby. The site features a steep reef slope that begins just beneath the surface before tumbling into deeper blue water. Divers typically drift over sprawling fields of hard corals, large barrel sponges, and vibrant soft coral gardens while keeping an eye out into the blue for pelagic visitors.
