Dive-site story
Located off Menjangan Island in northwest Bali, this site features a steep vertical drop-off interspersed with small cavernous recesses, overhangs, and fissures along the coral wall. Divers drift along dramatic limestone formations cloaked in massive gorgonian sea fans and sponges while peering into shadowy crevices for resting marine life. Surface boats typically moor along the reef flat before divers descend directly into the blue alongside the wall.
Deep vertical wall adorned with large sea fans and soft corals
Overhangs and cavernous indentations hosting nocturnal fish and invertebrates
Frequent sightings of pelagic cruisers off the wall
