Dive-site story
Located along the outer fringe reef of Maratua Island in East Kalimantan, this drift site lives up to its name with constant green sea turtle and hawksbill turtle activity. Divers drift along a sloping reef wall interspersed with hard coral bommies, soft coral patches, and shallow reef flats where resting turtles graze. Stronger tidal flows sweep past the outer drop-off, frequently drawing pelagic hunters into the blue.
