Dive-site story
Located off the coast of Havelock Island in the Andaman Sea, Pilot Reef is a sprawling offshore ridge characterized by massive hard coral colonies interspersed with wide sandy channels. Divers frequently encounter leopard sharks resting on the bottom along the perimeter of the reef. The open marine environment attracts passing pelagics, while dense communities of macro life and reef fish populate the coral formations.
