Dive-site story
Located between Polignano a Mare and Monopoli, this dive traces the northern cliff line of a sheltered limestone inlet. Divers descend along a stepped limestone wall that transitions into mixed boulders, Posidonia oceanica seagrass beds, and open sandy patches. The fractured rock face holds numerous cracks and small undercut caverns where Mediterranean macro life and lurking predators take shelter.
Limestone wall featuring fissures, crevices, and small natural overhangs
Dense Posidonia oceanica meadows harbouring juvenile fishes and camouflaged invertebrates
Sheltered bay entry point that allows for calm descents before navigating the outer cliff
