Dive-site story
Situated along the rugged coastline of the Capo Gallo Nature Reserve near Sferracavallo, this site features a dramatic field of tumbled limestone boulders that collapsed from the cliffside above into the sea. Divers navigate a maze of rock fractures, swim-throughs, and sandy patches fringed with extensive Posidonia oceanica seagrass. The sheltered nature of the bay provides gentle conditions suitable for practicing buoyancy control while searching crevices for classic Mediterranean fauna.
Extensive boulder field forming natural swim-throughs and overhangs
Healthy Posidonia meadows anchoring local marine biodiversity
