Dive-site story
Set within the Tavolara and Punta Coda Cavallo Marine Protected Area off northeastern Sardinia, La Mandria features weathered granite blocks that tumble across a seabed interspersed with patches of coarse sand and Posidonia oceanica seagrass. The underwater relief forms crevices, overhangs, and swim-throughs where marine life congregates under the protection of the marine reserve. Divers typically navigate along the edges of the granite formations before exploring the deeper fissures.
