Dive-site story
Set into the limestone cliffs of the Capo Caccia peninsula in northwestern Sardinia, this cavern system is recognized as the largest submerged marine cave complex in the Mediterranean Sea. The site features multiple interconnected arches, wide galleries, and dark tunnels extending hundreds of meters into the cliffside. Vaulted ceilings and overhangs are covered with colonies of red coral, while wide openings filter ambient light into intense blue backdrops across the chambers.
