Dive-site story
Located offshore from the Adriatic coast of Rimini, this artificial reef project features clustered concrete pyramid structures placed on a flat, silty seabed. Over the decades, the blocks have become fully encrusted with Mediterranean mussels, sponges, and bryozoans. Divers follow guide lines connecting the structures while searching the nooks and hollow interiors for resident marine life.
