Dive-site story
The Elviscot cargo vessel sank near the rock of Ogliera off the southwest coast of Elba Island. Resting on a sandy seabed right next to the reef, the stern and engine room remain well-preserved while the bow section was largely dismantled. Its shallow profile makes it readily accessible from the nearby pebble beach, drawing scuba divers, free divers, and snorkelers alike to examine the open hull structures and propeller.
Easily explored engine compartment illuminated by sunlight filtering through openings
Intact stern section featuring the rudder and ship's propeller
Surrounding sandy flats and granite boulders hosting small Mediterranean critters
