Dive-site story
Off the southern coast of Elba Island near Capoliveri, Scoglio Remaiolo breaks the surface. Its seaward side plunges into vertical drop-offs covered in red gorgonians, where pelagic predators patrol the open water and anthias drift around coral fans. Inshore, granite boulders, swim-throughs, and fissures shelter morays, octopus, and juvenile groupers.
