Dive-site story
Secca delle Ancore lies within the Tavolara and Punta Coda Cavallo Marine Protected Area off northeast Sardinia. Named after several antique iron anchors wedged into the seabed, the site consists of granite monoliths, sand channels, and posidonia seagrass meadows. Granite swim-throughs and overhangs shelter dense Mediterranean fish populations under strict marine park protections.
