Dive-site story
Located off the coast of Chioggia in the northern Adriatic, this site sits within the protected Tegnùe zone. Divers descend along a mooring line to biogenic carbonate outcrops formed over thousands of years by coralline algae and sedentary invertebrates. Cracks and crevices throughout the rocky slabs shelter macro organisms, while the surrounding sandy seabed frequently turns up benthic flatfish and cuttlefish.
