Dive-site story
Located off the coast of Chioggia in the northern Adriatic Sea, this site encompasses biogenic rocky outcrops locally called tegnùe. These coralligenous formations rise from a muddy-sandy seabed, built up over millennia by calcareous algae and invertebrates. Divers navigate through fissures, arches, and overhangs that harbor a high density of benthic marine life uncommon elsewhere in the northern Adriatic basin.
