Dive-site story
Located along the limestone cliffs of the Capo Caccia and Isola Piana Marine Protected Area, this site features a steep submerged gorge that leads into a wide natural tunnel. Divers navigate through the fjord-like cut before passing through the cavernous passage, which opens to dramatic blue-water drop-offs and fissure-riddled reef walls. The karst geology creates a sheltered route where ambient light filters through overhead crevices, illuminating encrusting sponges and small colonies of red coral.
