Dive sites in Cambodia

Atlantis is an offshore dive site at Koh Tang characterized by massive granite boulders and plateau formations that evoke the appearance of submerged architectural ruins. Hard coral gardens cover the shallower areas, while sandy gullies weave between rock clusters, creating natural swim-throughs and shelters for schooling fish.

Located along the sheltered eastern flank of Koh Rong Sanloem, this site features a gently sloping fringing reef characterized by massive Porites coral heads, scattered barrel sponges, and patches of staghorn coral. Sandy plateaus break up the hard coral formations, offering prime habitat for benthic critters. Calm conditions make it a staple training ground for open water courses while still offering macro enthusiasts plenty to explore.

Fly By is located off the coast of Koh Tang, an outer island reachable by liveaboard or extended day trip from Sihanoukville. The topography features sloping coral fields intermixed with large granite boulders and sandy channels. Due to its position, water movement can pick up, allowing divers to drift past gorgonian sea fans, barrel sponges, and encrusting hard corals while watching pelagics in the blue.

Rocky Ridge extends underwater off the outer islands of Cambodia, forming a submerged spur of granite boulders and coral patches. Divers drift alongside hard coral bommies and sea whip gardens while watching pelagic species pass in the blue. The topography drops off steadily into sand and rubble, offering shelter to benthic critters beneath overhangs.

Set off Koh Rong Sanloem in the Gulf of Thailand, Sponge Garden covers a gently sloping seabed scattered with barrel sponges, sea whips, and boulder corals. Sheltered topography keeps the water calm for navigation and slow macro searches among crevices.

The underwater terrain transitions from shallow rocky formations into gently sloping sand beds interspersed with hard coral bommies, sea whips, and patches of staghorn corals. Thanks to sheltered conditions and calm waters, it serves as a frequent site for training dives, macro photography, and relaxed night excursions.

Situated along the rocky headland of Koh Rong near Koh Tuich village, Tree House features a shallow fringing reef. Hard coral bommies, scattered boulders, and patches of sand characterize the site. It is frequently used for training dives and night explorations due to its sheltered position and calm waters during the dry season.

Vietnamese Bay sits along the sheltered coastline of the Koh Rong archipelago, providing protected conditions favored for training dives and relaxed exploration. The seabed transitions from fine sand into scattered coral bommies and rocky clusters. Macro critters hide among bottom debris, while small reef species congregate above the hard coral heads.
