Dive-site story
The River Taw is an intact-hull freighter sunk in shallow coastal waters off St. Kitts. Sunk in the mid-1980s and split into two distinct sections by a subsequent hurricane, the wreck rests upright on a flat sandy bottom. Divers navigate easily between the bow and stern sections, inspecting heavy coral encrustations, open cargo holds, and schooling reef fish sheltered within the structural beams.
