Dive-site story
Resting on a clean white sand flat off Grand Cayman's western shore, the bow section of the Oro Verde is one of the most recognizable fragments of this storied cargo vessel. Sunk intentionally in the early 1980s and scattered across the seabed by successive storms, the metal framework now functions as an artificial patch reef surrounded by open sandy plains.
