Dive-site story
Situated off the coast of Mirissa, this rocky outcrop features large granite boulders, fissures, and overhangs resting on a sandy seabed. As the name suggests, the site hosts an impressive concentration of moray eels sheltering inside crevices and rock hollows. Ocean swells can sweep through the shallower sections, but the labyrinthine rock formations provide ample shelter for reef critters and wandering pelagics.
High density of various moray eel species sheltered in deep cracks and fissures
Granite boulder formations with swim-throughs and sandy gullies
Schools of fusiliers and snappers swarming above the rock crests
