Dive-site story
Located on the northern coast of Gozo near Wied il-Għasri, Cathedral Cave is celebrated for its cavernous interior and luminous blue lighting. Divers follow a vertical cliff wall before entering a vast submerged archway that opens into an immense domed chamber. Inside the cave, you can ascend into an air pocket where natural fissures let in outside air, creating cathedral-like acoustics and an electric blue glow radiating from the underwater entrance.
