Dive-site story
Situated at the southern tip of Comino, Lantern Point is known for its vertical chimney and extensive boulder fields. Divers descend into a narrow vertical shaft that drops cleanly through the limestone plateau, opening out onto a sheer wall. Beyond the exit of the chimney, the underwater landscape slopes downward through massive tumbled rocks and deep channels, attracting schooling pelagics from the open channel between Malta and Gozo.
L-shaped vertical chimney swim-through cutting through the limestone reef top
Expansive boulder field offering shelter to hunting predators and cryptic critters
Sheer drop-offs that plunge into the deep channel with frequent pelagic passes
