Dive-site story
The MV Xlendi is a former Gozo Channel ferry intentionally scuttled off Ix-Xatt l-Aħmar to create an artificial reef. During sinking, the vessel inverted unexpectedly and now rests upside down along a sloping seabed. Divers explore the immense overturned hull and external running gear, though internal penetration is avoided due to severe structural collapse and heavy silt accumulation.
