Dive-site story
Located at the mouth of a sheltered bay on Gozo, this dive begins along the base of steep limestone cliffs before cutting directly through the headland via a straight, shallow tunnel. Natural light filters in from both ends, illuminating sponges and soft corals clinging to the rock walls. Exiting the tunnel reveals an open reef sloping down across a boulder-strewn seabed toward deeper waters.
Navigating the cavernous tunnel illuminated by ambient daylight at both openings
Spotting shy nocturnal creatures tucked into crevices along the tunnel walls
Exploring the boulder slope and outer drop-off beyond the headland
