Dive-site story
Encircling the island of Baros in North Malé Atoll, this accessible house reef slopes gently from shallow coral gardens down into a sandy seabed. The reef features several coral regeneration structures alongside a small sunken boat that serves as an artificial nursery. Resident marine life shelters within the staghorn thickets and overhangs, making it suitable for unhurried navigation and night excursions.
Resident hawksbill turtles grazing quietly across the upper reef slope
A small scuttled wreck hosting lionfish, glassfish, and juvenile batfish
Frequent flybys of blacktip reef sharks and whitetip reef sharks along the drop-off edge
Thriving coral nursery cubes and pyramids
