Dive-site story
Bodu Hohola, meaning 'Big Cave' in Dhivehi, is a dramatic wall and cavern dive situated along the outer reef in Addu Atoll. The main attraction is a cavernous recess undercut into the reef face, sheltering black coral bushes, sea fans, and soft coral colonies. Divers drift along the drop-off into deep blue water where pelagic species cruise alongside the hard reef structure.
