Dive-site story
Dhonfanu Thila is a classic submerged reef pinnacle situated in the eastern sector of Baa Atoll. The main feature is an undercut pinnacle pierced by a steep swim-through canyon that cuts straight through the reef wall. Currents sweeping past the pinnacle feed dense colonies of soft corals and bring pelagic predators into close proximity, while the reef top serves as a busy refuge for reef fish.
