Dive-site story
Hafsa Thila is an isolated submerged coral pinnacle in North Ari Atoll with a compact footprint. Steep flanks plunge from the plateau to a sandy seabed, forming deep overhangs and undercut ledges along the perimeter. Passing currents draw resident whitetip reef sharks and cruising grey reef sharks. Off the reef edge, batfish and fusilier schools gather in open water, while the pinnacle top holds anemone fields and coral blocks harboring moray eels and scorpionfish.
