Dive-site story
Situated along the lagoon edge of Thilamaafushi Island in Lhaviyani Atoll, this fringing reef extends from shallow coral flats into a gentle outer slope. Divers encounter mixed hard coral structures alongside patches of sea grass and scattered bommies. Marine life is typical of interior atoll channels, featuring resident sea turtles grazing near reef crests and juvenile reef sharks patrolling the drop-off.
