Dive-site story
Located along the southern reef drop-off of North Malé Atoll, this site is distinguished by a continuous series of deep overhangs, undercut ledges, and cavernous recesses. Soft corals and sea whips decorate the cave ceilings, providing refuge for nocturnal marine life while pelagics patrol the open water outside the reef wall. Drifting along the wall allows divers to peer into successive recesses without needing overhead penetration training.
Series of extensive caverns and overhangs lined with soft corals and sea fans
Green sea turtles and nurse sharks frequently resting under sheltered ledges
Schools of bannerfish and blue-striped snappers hovering near the cavern entrances
Occasional encounters with eagle rays cruising along the outer reef wall
