Dive-site story
Located along the northern edge of South Malé Atoll, Vadoo Caves features an undercut wall formation riddled with caverns and cavernous overhangs. Divers drift along the drop-off to explore deep recesses adorned with sea fans and encrusting sponges. Because oceanic currents sweep past the atoll corner, pelagic activity remains high along the outer wall while sheltered ledges harbor resting marine life.
Series of dramatic undercut caverns and cavern ceilings blanketed in soft corals
Green sea turtles frequently seen resting inside the cavern crevices
Regular drift encounters with whitetip reef sharks and hunting trevallies along the blue water drop-off
