Dive-site story
Located just off the coast of Playa del Carmen, Chun Zumbul is a shallow reef system characterized by rolling coral spurs and wide sand channels. The reef structure features numerous undercut ledges and crevices where marine life rests during daylight hours. Moderate currents often sweep along the reef line, turning the dive into a relaxing drift past hard coral heads, large gorgonians, and sea fans.
