Dive-site story
El Vencedor is a historic tuna boat that sank in the early 1980s inside Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park. Over the decades, wave action and marine growth have broken down the wooden superstructure, scattering metal debris across a sandy seabed that is now colonised by coral heads. The site is most celebrated as a gathering ground for predatory pelagics, especially bull sharks that cruise along the edge of the sand flats.
