Situated along the rocky Pacific coastline of Huatulco, La Rajada takes its name from a pronounced geological cleft running through massive granite boulders. Divers follow the canyon-like fracture where surge channels, shaded ledges, and rocky overhangs create sheltered havens for marine life. Beyond the rock split, the terrain slopes toward deeper sandy seafloor scattered with volcanic rubble and brain corals.
