Dive-site story
Located off the southernmost tip of Cozumel, Maracaibo is an exhilarating outer-reef wall exposed to the open Caribbean Sea. Divers encounter dramatic drop-offs plunging into deep oceanic trenches alongside huge coral buttresses, towering gorgonians, and black coral bushes. The exposed position brings swift currents and excellent opportunities to spot large pelagic species cruising along the wall edge.
