Dive-site story
Sunk in the San Lorenzo Channel in 1976 after striking Swanee Rock, this former cargo ferry rests on a flat sand bottom. The hull has broken open over decades of tidal action, exposing its cargo of scattered truck chassis and propeller shafts. Swept by regular tidal currents, the structure serves as an artificial reef attracting dense schools of fish and resident predators.
