Dive-site story
Located off the southwestern coast of Cozumel inside the marine park, San Francisco is known for its gently sloping coral bank that drops off into deep blue water. Divers glide along the reef with the prevailing northward current, passing massive coral heads, barrel sponges, and gorgonians scattered across a sand-channel bottom.
