Dive-site story
Located off the sandy fringes of Mabul Island, Eel Garden features a sloping seabed transitioning into coral patches and expansive sand flats. The site earns its name from the colonies of garden eels poking out of the substrate, swaying synchronously with the gentle surge. Divers working their way along the slope encounter a blend of macro critters, rubble-dwelling crustacea, and occasional green sea turtles resting on coral bommies.
