Dive-site story
Pulau Jahat is an exposed granite outcrop lying off the southern reaches of Tioman Island. Underwater, massive tumble-down boulders create a maze of deep fissures, crevices, and swim-throughs encrusted with whip corals and sea fans. Currents frequently sweep across the southern and eastern edges of the formation, drawing in schools of pelagic predators and shoaling fusiliers.
Rugged granite boulder topography featuring canyons, overhangs, and swim-throughs
Frequent aggregations of yellowtail barracudas and trevallies in open water
Dense clusters of seafans, black coral bushes, and soft corals along the deeper faces
