Dive-site story
Mid Reef sits along the eastern wall of Sipadan Island, dropping steeply into the oceanic abyss. Divers drift parallel to a sheer face encrusted with large gorgonian sea fans, whip corals, and soft coral colonies. Both green and hawksbill turtles regularly wedge themselves into small ledges along the wall face to rest, while whitetip reef sharks patrol the blue water just off the drop-off.
